A Call to Pray for our Nation
I am asking as many believers as possible to voluntarily choose to pray for our country on Monday, November 2, 2020, the day before election day.
While I am thankful for the freedom we have in our nation to voice our opinion through the ballot box (and I hope you are planning on voting if you are able), one of the primary responsibilities that Christians have as citizens of this earthly kingdom is to pray for our governmental authorities (1 Timothy 2:1-5).
So I am calling on Christians to pray for at least 30 minutes on Monday, November 2nd. Pray for our nation and pray for God's people in our nation.
I have included here a simple flier to explain more and to provide suggested ways to pray.
Pray on your own at some point during the day, before you start your work, before the kids wake up, during your lunch break, or whenever works best for you. You can do this individually, or as a family, or perhaps with a friend or two. Just find a block of time that would work best in your schedule and pray.
Will you join me Monday in praying for our nation?
Let's see what God will do.
